Arrived in Savannah

We headed to Savannah for a few days.  It was only about two and half hour drive from Goose Creek.  We decided to read the book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" while visiting Savannah, so we downloaded it on Kindle.  We spent our first afternoon in Savannah lounging by the pool reading our Kindle book.  We headed out in the evening to check out some of the Savannah squares and the Mercer house that is in the book.

Today we headed out for a bit more touring around Savannah.  To continue our "Cemeteries of the South" tour, we enjoyed a picnic lunch at Bonaventure Cemetery overlooking the river.  We then went through the Savannah History Museum.  After the museum, we enjoyed an americano at Gallery Expresso.
