Day two in Costa Rica - December 13
After our leisurely breakfast, we packed up and moved across
the compound (Henry and Ursela's house and Richard's apartments are all
contained within a wall). Our apartment
was very nice and even bigger than it appeared from the photos. We are very pleased. We met our upstairs neighbors, Deb and Don
from Salina, Kansas,
who are also considering moving here when they retire.

We are in the bottom apartment. The garden around the apartment is
gorgeous. We have several fruit trees
with lemons, limes, oranges and tangerines.
I had spied a ripe lemon in one tree and was going to pick it for my water,
but I guess one of the neighbors or a bird beat me to it while I was
napping. We also have coffee plants full
of beans in the field right next to us.

There are beautiful poinsettias and flowers in
abundance. This poinsettia is probably
12 feet tall.
